The urban evolution of Vendrell had always been determined by the passage of the road between Barcelona and Tarragona. The construction of the CN-340 bypass, which moved the road away from the urban core, allowed it to become a fundamental urban route within Vendrell that could drive the regeneration of its city center.
The goal of the project was to manage the transformation of this transit road into a generator of urban activity.
