A small console to attach to the wall in the hallway, living room, or corridor. A place for the mail that just arrived, the keys, the item you can’t forget when leaving, a vase, a sculpture... or the laptop. Small drawers to store the many little objects that wander around the house.
The console is called Canoviana because, in front of an elegant neoclassical console in the home of the distinguished sculptor, in Possagno –next to his wonderful Gliptoteca expanded by Carlo Scarpa– I thought it was unfortunate not to find a comparable piece of furniture on the market, and right there, I decided that one day I would reinterpret it.
