A beachfront construction. To enjoy the Mediterranean was a priority, so the size and design of the terraces became the leitmotif of the project. The terraces are wide, located on the corners, and protected by rigid roll-up blinds. This allowed us to create generous and intimate intermediate spaces. The blinds don’t reach the floor; they stop at the height of the wide glass parapet to always allow the view of the sea. The other openings, facing the neighboring buildings, are square and small.
We visited the building in 2023, fifty-four years after it was constructed. We were able to access the residence thanks to an architect friend whose family still enjoys it. I was astonishing: they have preserved and respected it admirably, a unique case that is truly reassuring.
