The final stage of the research initiated in Hannover was the Central Bus Station of Castellón. In this case, the modules were not only attached lengthwise to form long canopies, but also widthwise to create large covered areas. The system fully exploited its possibilities, and the central skylights took on all their meaning. Like in the Mezquita of Córdoba, the roof could extend indefinitely in all directions. The pillars have been raised to accommodate the gauge of large coaches, and small kiosks were added for ticket booths, but the system itself has not been modified, proving capable of hosting uses that were not initially foreseen.
