Bet Figueras
Gardens located in a privileged spot of a privileged area, high up in Maresme, sheltered by the mountain range and overlooking the sea. With Bet, we worked with the same method as always: I designed the geometry, and she took care of everything plant-related. The sheets of water that start from the pool in three stepped levels descend through terraces planted with species of different colors. The northern garden, with a fountain spilling into subtle channels, is intentionally Japanese-inspired. And, above all, a lifelong dream shared with Bet: to create a true maze with already-grown yews. A maze that leads into the forest and, surprisingly, opens up to the sea.
