La Murrina
A roughly cylindrical base made of transparent glass on which another piece of the same material, tinted and sometimes coloured, was superimposed as a shade. This “hat” could be placed at different angles or inverted, directing the light towards the ceiling. Each piece acquired different shades, taking advantage of the extraordinary chromatic richness of Murano glass.
