It is the result of what happens to a chair if we remove the legs, the armrest, and the upholstery: a seat with a backrest so that you can sit on the floor but with greater comfort. In other words, a hippie start, from when we crawled on the floors, suitably bourgeois. Barely a meter of plywood, properly molded, for a time of material scarcity and design restraint.

We were warned that the surface veneer of the plywood was going to open on the top of the backrest (a problem that disappeared when it was upholstered). We made a virtue out of necessity by making three previous cuts at the top end of the veneer. It looked very nice.
