The land could have been divided into parcels to build several chalets with meager gardens around them. However, we thought it better to group the construction into two buildings, each housing six residences, leaving a large community garden. We fought with the local council to be able to edify one of the first semi-detached houses in a garden city: little did we know what was coming our way!
The most appealing feature of the homes is the central void, which houses the staircase and provides double lighting and cross ventilation to the lounge-dining room and the three bedrooms, faced at middle level.
