My friend Joan Antoni Solans, who ruled for years the urban policy of both Barcelona and Catalonia, had reached an agreement with the developer Núñez y Navarro regarding a plot of land adjacent to the Parc de Sentmenat. The plot would be ceded to the park on the condition that a strip of housing could be built along its perimeter, the Torrent de Can Caralleu. Additionally, the construction had to be interrupted to allow access to the park, aligning with an old pathway.

Following Solans' guidelines, we designed a series of semi-detached houses facing this steep, torrential street. The layout was a complex fan-shaped arrangement, where each section had to be staggered by one meter relative to the next. To avoid damaging the sidewalk with an uninterrupted succession of driveways, we created an internal access road leading to the private garages within the building (the great success of the project). The living rooms open onto the park through a small private garden. On the deck there is a swimming pool for each owner.
