Our main intention was to create a fountain that symbolized the unique geographical and political situation of San Fernando and the Cádiz area. Ideas such as maritime communication between Spain, Africa, and America, as well as the history of San Fernando as the starting point for liberalism in Spain and Latin America, influenced us.
This led us to propose a sort of water bridge between the three continents represented by the shape of its territory.
Water is the protagonist! It falls over the edges of the boat, slides down the sides until reaching the keel at the center, and from there flows to the base in the form of a light curtain.
