Athena Nike from the Propylaea, Athens
116 x 76 cm
oil
This first painting was born from the impression that the Temple of Athena Nike made on me when I saw it from the Propylaea of the Athenian Acropolis.
Later, respecting the vertical frame and the same dimensions (116 x 76 cm), I became immersed in other 'Stone Architectures' from Greece, Rome, Paris, London, and Barcelona.
As I progressed with this project, I realized that, deep down, these were the types of architectures I would like to create.
