HOT DAYS is the result of the warmth I experienced over several months while painting a series of nudes —or near-nudes— inspired by the body of a beloved woman. It is a collection of 36 paintings, of which only a small selection is shown here, while the complete series can be seen in the book HOT DAYS.

The luxurious volume was published by the prestigious Allemandi publishing house and features an introductory text by Mario Vargas Llosa.

The paintings were exhibited at Room One Gallery in London in 2018 and at the Fundació Vila Casas in Barcelona in 2022.
