By cutting and folding a flat sheet, many objects can be built. From the series we studied, we show the first two: a small armchair and a stool.
We cannot hide the direct influence that a magnificent bent wood chair by Alvar Aalto has had on the design of the former.
The fact that no small area of sheet material is wasted is not only ingenious but also quite logical in this case, given the high price of methacrylate.
