It was a kind of a combination between a sofa and a small table, allowing you to place the remote control, a coffee, or a drink on the furniture itself without needing a coffee table. Additionally, I gave it a concave shape to allow for visibility and better conversation among three people.
After a few years of this model being in production, I discovered a design by Tomás Díaz Magro from 1960 –the Gothic armchair-table– based on an identical idea. These things happen, I admit.
