The magic of sitting on the floor. A wool rug that rose and molded itself until adopting the shape of a seat with a backrest. The design emerged from observing a very common act while watching TV or having a casual conversation: sitting on the floor on a rug, with your back resting against a sofa.
It was also inspired by the interiors of English palaces, where some carpets climb up onto shelves. From this came this hybrid piece of furniture that, in an unusual way, transforms itself to provide comfort. There were three fabric versions for the rug: one geometric, reproducing a labyrinth; another recovering the motif of a Tibetan tiger; and a third inspired by the traditional Turkish carpet.
