Palazzo Reale, Milano
Giovanni Fasanaro
Maurici Ginés
This interesting exhibition was to show just a few of the Master’s works in the grand setting of the Palazzo Reale. This enabled us to create a specific setting for each work or group of works. Each theme was developed under suitable lighting and with suitable colours.
A special event was the unprecedented exhibition of Dalí's work for Disney. All of Dalí's original works were displayed on the broken walls of a circular room, while in the center was a projection of Destino, the Disney studio's interpretation of the film imagined by the painter.
It is particularly worth mentioning the reproduction, for the first time in the world, of Rostro de Mae West utilizado como salón, which I made with the Master in the Teatre-Museu in Figueres in 1976. In this case, however, visitors could see themselves walking around the face on a large screen opposite.
