Golf de Sta. Cristina d’Aro, Girona

The urbanization was designed with isolated houses, all of which are situated on the extension of the golf course’s grass, stretching uninterruptedly between plots without dividing fences. It’s an attractive Nordic solution but unusual in our country, where privacy seems indispensable. Therefore, achieving a minimum level of privacy was fundamental. The house, the garage, the pool, and the annex are arranged in various rectangles that, with their orientations, shield from the north wind and views from the access road. While the main areas face south and the golf course, the service areas face north and the street. At a vanishing point, at the end of the private garden, a roundabout is covered with wisteria in the spring.
