Oscar Tusquets Blanca Foundation in Paris

The board of the OTB Foundation met in Paris at the beginning of November for their annual meeting. They took advantage of their stay in the French capital to visit the Musée des Arts Decoratifs, where Oscar Tusquets Blanca, together with the architect Bruno Moinard, had just redesigned the rooms for the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.

Carlos Ferrater and Joan Guibernau awarded the 2006 Decada Prize  for the Triginer house

On Wednesday 31 May, the Decada Prize was awarded to the Triginer house in Valldidrera, a work by Carlos Ferrater and Joan Guibernau. The award ceremony took place in the Petit Palau, in Barcelona.

     In his speech announcing the award, Glenn Murcutt, winner of the Pritzker prize, drew attention to the way in which the building occupies the land to take best advantage of the views of the city. He also praised the apparent simplicity of the architecture, "although we all know that simplicity is the other face of complexity".
