Designing a pen to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Leonardo's death is a delicate challenge. The work of no other artist has suffered more kitsch interpretations, Cenacolos and Giocondas have invaded all kinds of bibelots. My pen alludes to a brush, the clip is made up of disheveled hairs and where the number that defines the coarse is usually located at number 500. The fact that the best marten hair brushes are of the da Vinci brand is a lucky one coincidence.
