“Very close collaboration between Alexandre Cirici (responsible for the text), Oriol Maspons (photographs) and us (book designers). The photographs were taken to fit in with Cirici’s ideas and bearing in mind how the book would be laid out: I was alongside Oriol on almost all the photo shoots (including the ones in Italy). This made it possible, for example, for us to compare the naves of different churches by pinching some intermediate pages between the fingers.”
