“The first work we did together for the publishing company. A collection of notorious texts that we decided to characterise not by their design but by their material: silvered card. We risked several experiments with them, limited as we were by our scant resources and our slight knowledge of graphic arts, but we were carried forward by a certain young man’s daring; from titles that had to be read in the mirror, mobile covers or the die-cut cover of Groucho y yo on which one could read “Groucho” on the cover and “author” on the half-title page. I don’t think we could do anything better today.”
