Hotel which it was planned to open for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. For various reasons, the work came to a halt for a number of years until it was finally decided to construct a catering school as part of it which could also function in conjunction with the hotel. Both were finally opened in 1995.

One of the main features of the building is its placement - perpendicular to the Ronda de Dalt motorway - with the result that the rooms, situated on either side, have a view but cannot see the motorway, thus cutting down on the often inevitably high visual and acoustic impact of city traffic.
